Arriving in Victoria via Italy in 1953, Don Di Fabrizio would become a figure synonymous with Morwell and its football community. He served as President of Morwell Falcons for 23 years, guiding them to championships in the Latrobe Valley and Victorian Soccer Federation before steering them to representation in the National Soccer League. Di Fabrizio served on the VSF’s State League Management Committee from 1982 and was a Member of the VSF Board where he also served as Treasurer. An Australian Soccer Federation (ASF) Commissioner he was a driving force behind the institution of a Football Australia Hall of Fame, he served on the  nominations committee from 1997 (as Chairman) until 2008, where he was ultimately inducted into the Hall of Fame for his outstanding service to the game. He was also inducted into the Gippsland Soccer League Hall of Fame in 2012. Di Fabrizio was honoured with Life Membership in 1992 and passed away in 2022.

As treasurer with Fitzroy United Alexander, John Dimtsis soon made waves at the Victorian Soccer Federation, joining the Board of Management  in 1972, becoming the treasurer in 1973, before succeeding Theo Marmaras as President in 1980, a position he held until 1991. He was instrumental in the introduction of the Victorian Premier League in 1991 and served as treasurer of the Australian Soccer Federation (ASF), becoming Deputy Chairman under John Constantine following the implementation of the Bradley Report, and Acting Chairman for a brief period. He helped facilitate the amalgamation between the VSF and Women's Soccer Victoria, and was honoured with Life Membership by the VSF in 1989. He was inducted into the Football Victoria Hall of Fame in 2015. John Dimtsis passed away in 2022, ahed 81.

Born near Glasgow in 1881, Harry Dockerty migrated to Melbourne in 1907 and would become the single most influential figure in the sport in Victoria. His advertisements seeking players interested in playing the British Association game would lead to the the game's revival and the formation of the Victorian Amateur British Football Association (VABFA). He donated the Cup which bears his name in 1909 and was also involved in the formation of the Commonwealth Football Association in 1912, becoming its president in 1921. He was awarded honorary life membership of the VABFA in 1915 and was instrumental in mending the district split which divided the sport in the late 1920's. After the second world war, Dockerty became Vice President of the Victorian Amateur Soccer Football Association (VASFA) and President in 1956, serving in that role until the organisation gave way to the birth of the Victorian Soccer Federation (VSF) in 1962. He remained President of the VSF until his death in 1965, aged 82. Dockerty was posthumously inducted into inaugural intakes of the Football Australia Hall of Fame in 1999 and Football Victoria Hall of Fame in 2010.

Born in Poland, Henry Dressler arrived in Australia after the Second World War and helped found the Polonia Soccer Club in 1950, where he was secretary in 1954 and a member of its Committee until at least 1965. He helped guide the club to the Victorian First Division and was at the helm when the Victorian Soccer Federation was formed. He became a member of the VSF Management Committee in 1961 and chair of the State League Management Committee in 1964. Dressler was a team manager for the Australian squad which attempted to qualify for the World Cup in 1965 for the first time and team manager and chairman of selectors for the Victorian state team that year. He continued on the VSF Board of Management until 1971 and was chairman of the Metropolitan League in 1969 and 1970. As a teacher he coached the Collingwood Technical College students to three state championships in succession. In all Henry Dressler spent more than 40 years involved in the game and was awarded life membership in 1967. He died in 2003, aged 77.
