RELEASED: Return To Play Conditions: 18 June

Following the Victorian Government’s latest relaxation of restrictions, Football Victoria (FV) has released updated Return To Play Conditions (All Ages) for Victoria.

The key changes include:

Greater Melbourne

  • All outdoor football and Futsal/indoor matches and competition can resume for all ages, subject to an indoor venue cap of 50 people and outdoor venue cap of 1,000
  • Spectators are not permitted in Greater Melbourne other than for parental supervision (1 per participant) and support people for players with additional needs. Attendance is limited to those essential to running the football/Futsal activity.
  • Greater Melbourne residents are not permitted to travel to Regional Victoria as spectators, other than as parental supervision (1 per participant)
  • Changerooms can open, subject to density quotient/indoor caps
  • Removal of 25km travel limit
  • Movement between Greater Melbourne and Regional Victoria is permitted to play/officiate football

Regional Victoria

  • Indoor limit increases to 300 patrons per indoor space, subject to density limits (including participants/officials/spectators)
  • Movement between metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria permitted
  • Indoor and outdoor spectators are permitted, subject to density quotient and overall patron limit of 1,000 (outdoor) and 300 (indoor)
