Beginning in 2014, Female Football Week is an annual initiative aimed at elevating women and girls and their contribution to football across all aspects of the game!
2024 Female Football Week will be held from Friday, May 3rd to Sunday, May 12th.
The theme #WeRise is a celebration of Australian women's football, as we rise together to elevate women and girls, highlighting the sense of community both on and off the field.
The presence and influence of women and girls in football is a key focus for Football Victoria (FV) with the organisation building towards a 50/50 gender equity target by 2027.
