Don't miss out! Team entries for the 2023 Women’s Football Carnival of Nations (WCON) are open. Be a part of this incredible tournament that caters for players of all abilities.
Held over four consecutive Sundays throughout October, WCON has become a fixture in the yearly football calendar.
The Carnival is not-for-profit and run by volunteers to provide women the perfect opportunity to play football in a fun and social environment.
There are two divisions, social and competitive with all matches to be officiated by qualified Football Victoria referee. Every female player is eligible to play for any team irrespective of their existing registration status or club membership.
Anyone can play for any nation; irrespective of citizenship or heritage. Everyone is welcome regardless of whether you are new to football, a former or a current player.
The inaugural tournament was held in 2019 and after a COVID affected 2020 returned for a hugely successful 2021 then 2022. Last year, more than 500 players took part - it was a tremendous celebration of women’s football and we're looking forward to making 2023 bigger and better than ever!
