The eyes of Australia are on our Olympic heroes - especially the Matildas who continue their path through to the Semi Finals, and the Olyroos who represented our country so valiantly on the world stage.

While only a special few of us will ever go on to represent our country at the highest level, interest in our great game of football continues to explode.

MiniRoos

MiniRoos Kick-Off Program

MiniRoos Kick-Off is a fun, safe introductory program designed for new players aged  between 4 and 11. 

Players take part in weekly 45 minute sessions that build skills through games and simple drills delivered in an engaging and inclusive environment. Every player gets plenty of time on the ball and the prime aim of each session is for children to build fundamental motor skills.

Each child also receives a MiniRoos Participant Pack when they register – which includes a bag, ball, sticker sheet and an activity book.

GO Soccer Mums

GO Soccer Mums

Designed specifically for women, GO Soccer Mums is all about having fun, meeting new people, and learning basic football skills in a social, judgement-free environment.

It's not just for mums - but for all women, from all walks of life! It doesn't matter if you have never kicked a football before - absolutely no experience in necessary - anybody can take part!

Futsal

Futsal (5-a-side football)

Futsal is an exciting, popular football format, played indoors on a smaller, hard court with boundary lines, catering for all age groups, all genders and skill levels. Futsal is played between two teams of five players, including a goalkeeper, with unlimited substitutions permitted. There are many opportunities to play, coach or referee Futsal with Football Victoria

GO Girls

GO Girls

GO Girls is a new social, non-competitive football program designed for 12-16 year old girls to experience, learn and practice football in an inclusive, fun, all-girl environment.

No experience is necessary - this social format of the game can be played by girls with all levels of experience and all levels of fitness.

There are a lot of reasons to become a referee. Perhaps you're no longer playing football but want to stay connected with the game. Or you're interested in a part time job that provides an income. Or you want to give back to the game you love.

Walking Football

Walking Football is a low impact version of the game, suitable for all ages, all fitness levels and abilities!

Walking Football aims to provide participants physical & mental health benefits, social contentedness and promotion of the benefits of ongoing physical activity.

A new Walking Football Program commences at YMCA Leisure City from  2nd August  - or perhaps you'd like to get involved in FV's Inaugural Walking Football Tournament on August 20 at Darebin International Sports Centre.
