"The Pararoos" Film Premieres At RMIT University

The Pararoos are the Australian national football team in international 7-a-side competition for athletes with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injuries or injuries acquired from stroke. They are a side that have faced many hurdles in their personal lives as well as in their journeys to represent Australia on the world stage.

Yesterday on the 2nd of July 2018, "The Pararoos" film made it's Victorian debut in front of a full crowd at RMIT University.

The film explores different players personalities, the world of paralympic football and the importance of sport in mental and physical rehabilitation.

It follows the team from their national championships where an initial squad is selected right through to their final game at the World Championships in San Luis, Argentina.
