Oakleigh Cannons confirm coaching structure for season 2024

Oakleigh Cannons have confirmed their coaching stricture for the upcoming 2024 NPLM season. 

In 2022, the Cannons finished third on the table after 26 rounds, falling to South Melbourne in the Semi-Finals 2-1.

The OCFC Board said they were "thrilled" to unveil Chris Taylor will return as Head Coach, along with announcing his assistants. 
 
"Chris Taylor, has committed to a long-term contract with OCFC, ensuring our continued success and fostering a professional football culture," the statement read.
 
Joining forces with Chris, our coaching panel consists of the following:
 
  • Assistant Coach: Craig Smart
  • Assistant Coach: Louis Gorgulho Goalkeeper Coach: Bojo Jevdjevic
  • Head of High Performance and Medical: Tim Schleiger
 
"The silverware in our cabinet is a symbol of our journey so far, but under Chris's guidance, it's also a precursor to the heights we aspire to reach.
 
"The foundation has been laid, and with each season, we strive to raise the bar higher, solidifying OCFC's standing as a strong, respectful, humble and proud football club in Victoria.

Chris Taylor also noted he was buoyant at the future for the Cannons following recent success.
