In response to emerging cases of COVID-19 in regional areas, the Victorian Government has tonight requested that all community sporting leagues across Regional Victoria cancel their activities for this weekend.
As a result, Football Victoria (FV) advises that all football and Futsal activities for this weekend across regional Victoria are cancelled, effective 11.59pm August 20.
This includes all organised competitions, practice matches & training sessions, refereeing training sessions, in-person referee & coaching courses, Cup competitions/tournaments, Futsal competitions and training, Talent ID and elite development programs.
Further information will be provided by the Victorian Government tomorrow. FV will continue to share any information relevant to Football/Futsal as we receive it.
