Held over four consecutive Sundays throughout October at the Darebin International Sports Centre, the annual tournament caters for players of all abilities.
The Carnival is not-for-profit and run by volunteers to provide women the perfect opportunity to play football in a fun and social environment.
There are two divisions, social and competitive with all matches to be officiated by qualified Football Victoria referee. Every female player is eligible to play for any team irrespective of their existing registration status or club membership.
The inaugural tournament was held in 2019 and after a COVID affected 2020 returned for a hugely successful 2021. Last year, 28 teams consisting of 575 players entered with 258 goals being scored across 48 matches. It was a tremendous celebration of women’s football.

Dates: Sunday 2, 9, 16 and 23 October
Location: Darebin International Sports Centre
Cost: The registration fee of $275 per team is subsidised. Every team will be allocated a minimum of three matches.
