Get Active Kids Voucher Program - $200 Grants Available

Get Active Victoria's Kids Voucher Program has re-opened, supporting children with grants of up to $200.

All kids deserve the chance to get outside, join a sporting club and be active - but for some families, the costs of associated with sport can prove a significant barrier to participation.

Through the program, eligible kids will be provided $200 vouchers to be used for cost of membership, registration fees, sports equipment or uniforms (new or second-hand).

Football Victoria encourages the football community to utilise this fantastic initiative from Get Active Victoria, which has already provided over 100,000 vouchers since the program's inception.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for a voucher your child/dependant must be:

  • Aged 0 to 18 years
  • A resident in Victoria
  • Named on a valid Australian Government Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card
  • Named on a valid Australian Government Medicare Card.

You can apply for more than one voucher if you have more than one eligible child. You can apply for multiple children on the one application.

What costs are covered?

Vouchers of up to $200 can be used to pay for membership, registration, or participation fees at a registered Get Active Kids sport or active recreation club, association or program.

You can find a registered activity provider when you apply or ask your local club if they have registered.

If uniform and equipment are part of the membership or registration fee, a voucher can be used to pay for that uniform or equipment (for example, safety equipment, mouthguards).
