FV All-Abilities League to conclude with Celebration Day

Football Victoria (FV) is excited to host the All-Abilities (AA) Celebration Day to conclude the AA-League on Saturday, August 27 at the Knox Regional Football Centre. 

The celebration day is a chance for participants, family, and friends to come together and celebrate the end of the 2022 season.

The AA-League kicked off on April 30 with the social and Division 1 and 2 teams playing eight rounds, while the junior division played five matches. 

Divisions 1 and 2 will play off in the gold and silver grand final, while the junior and social divisions will participate in friendly matches. 

The matches will get underway at 10 am with medal and pennant presentations to be awarded at 1:30 pm. 

The celebration will have fun for the whole family with face painting and inflatables at the venue.

The AA-League started in 2017 and is open to all ages and people with any form of disability with currently over 120 participants enrolled in the competition.

The league provides individuals with a disability to play football in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.

The social and junior leagues allow for on-field support, although the competitive competitions don’t allow for the support.

Social and competitive divisions are open to ages 14+ and are played with seven-a-side, while the junior competitions are for 6 to 14 years old’s and is five-a-side.
