FV Female Talented Player Programs undertake MiniRoos coaching course

A group of Victoria's leading young female players have undertaken a MiniRoos coaching course in a bid to develop and inspire the next generation.

On Tuesday July 5, 32 registered NTC and FV Emerging players undertook a MiniRoos course hosted by Football Victoria's Technical Team.

The 32 participants, all from various age groups, learned how to design and deliver coaching sessions and put coaching principles into practice. Lots of fun and learning took place as the players embraced the opportunity to develop themselves on and off the pitch.

The course was delivered by FV Emerging Head Coach Helen Winterburn and SAP Development Manager Seb Zancan, who both also serve as FV Coach Developers.

FV is closely collaborating with Football Australia to deliver the Athlete Wellbeing & Engagement Program in 2022. As part of this, players within the Female Talented Player Programs were encouraged to participate in a FV Miniroos Coaching Course.

Congratulations to the new MiniRoos coaches! To learn more about MiniRoos, or to get involved visit the link below.
