Football Victoria 2019 Media Accreditation Applications Open

Applications for Football Victoria media accreditation for the 2019 season are now open. Applying for accreditation does not guarantee a pass.

The competitions ("Football Victoria-run competitions") this accreditation grants access too are: National Premier Leagues Victoria, NPL Victoria 2 and NPL Victoria Women's, FV State Leagues, Victorian qualifying rounds of FFA Cup (up to Round 7), Dockerty Cup, Women's State Knock-Out Cup and NPL National Finals Series matches hosted in Victoria.

FV accreditation Does Not grant the bearer access to the national rounds of FFA Cup, NPL Finals Series matches staged outside Victoria, Hyundai A-League, Westfield W-League, Foxtel National Youth League and any international matches.

This season Football Victoria will have three separate categories for accreditation:
1. Media
2. Club media employee or Club media volunteer
3. Data or livescore service

Applicants MUST select the correct category as part of their application. Please read the Media Terms of Accreditation prior to applying.

1. Media

Media refers to writers, photographers, videographers and broadcasters covering Football Victoria-run competitions. Freelancers are welcome to apply but must list all platforms for which their work will be published as part of the application.

2. Club media employee or Club media volunteer

In 2019 FV will issue a specific pass for Club media employees and Club media volunteers. Pass holders will be granted access to Football Victoria-run competitions matches in which the club name printed on the front of the pass is playing only. FV will also require a club endorsement to be attached for all applicants in this category.

3. Data or livescore service

All applicants are reminded to read the Media Terms of Accreditation prior to applying.

Key Details

Applications close Monday January 21, 2019. Please note the deadline has been set to allow pass production and delivery prior to the FV Community Shield which will be held on or prior to the second weekend in February.

Applications submitted after the January 21 deadline will be considered, however there will be significant delays with no set time frame for both manufacturing and collection or delivery.

Applications may receive a follow up email from Football Victoria requiring additional materials to the application form, such as a letter of endorsement from their employer or a folio of work.

Successful applications submitted prior to the January 21, 2019 deadline will have the applicant notified by email and pass sent by post to the address provided in the application form.
