Following Football Victoria's recent statements on Respecting The Game, please note that our Disciplinary Department is currently investigating some serious incidents, including the scenes witnessed at the Springvale City FC and Sandown Lions FC fixture on 2 August.
Whilst it is not appropriate for us to comment on any specific charges during the investigation phase, we do want to reassure the football community that any club found to have breached FV’s strict discipline code will be subject to swift and significant penalties. FV reiterates that we take a zero tolerance approach to anyone acting in an anti-social manner at football matches.
We call on everyone across the Victorian football family to come together and continue our strong stance against anti-social behaviour.
