ADDITIONAL OPT IN INSURANCE
Included under the existing policy, registered participants are covered for loss of income up to a maximum value of $250 per week for an injury sustained whilst playing or engaging in sanctioned football activities. This coverage is for a maximum of 52 weeks.
For the 2024 season, our insurer is offering additional coverage for individuals on an opt-in basis for participants aged 18 years and older.
This would increase the maximum value for loss of income from $250 per week to $500 or $750 per week.
The cost for an additional $250 opt-in policy increase is $180 (plus government charges, GST and fees) per participant and is required to be paid by the participant, not by FV.
The cost for an additional $500 opt-in policy increase is $360 (plus government charges, GST and fees) per participant and is required to be paid by the participant, not by FV.
