The CommBank Emerging Matildas and CommBank Emerging Socceroos Championships are a cornerstone of Football Australia’s national talent identification and development pathway for both players and match officials.
Held over 12 days, the CommBank Emerging Championships continue to strengthen the connection between youth football and Australia’s senior national teams, reinforcing a clear, highperformance pathway toward the CommBank Matildas and CommBank Socceroos.
Those officials selected to represent Victoria at this event have been identified through their performances across grassroots and advanced junior competitions, as well as State Championships and other high-profile matches.
The 2026 CommBank Emerging Championships will bring together teams from Football Australia’s nine State and Territory Member Federations and invitational teams including the Charles Perkins XI, Vietnam Football Federation and Japan Football Academy.
We wish all our officials the very best of luck, as they set foot on the national stage this month.
