Football Victoria Announces 2025 VPL Fixtures for Men’s and Women’s Competitions

Football Victoria (FV) is delighted to release the VPLM 1 & 2 and VPLW fixtures for the 2025 season.

The 2025 VPLM1 and VPLM2 (Seniors, U23s, and U19s) will begin on the weekend of February 9 and conclude on the weekend of August 24. In 2025, the VPLW season will kick-off on the weekend of March 26 and and conclude with the Seniors Grand Final on September 14.

A key highlight for 2025 is the introduction of an exciting play-off series. Teams finishing in 3rd to 6th place in both the VPLM1 and VPLM2 will compete in a  post-season series to secure the third promotion spot with the play-offs will culminate in finals played on September 14.

2025 VPLM 1 & 2 and VPLW Fixtures!

VPLM1 was one of the most exciting and compelling competitions in the state in 2024 with six points separating first and fourth as teams battled for the promotion spots to the NPLM, there was also only nine points separating 12th and sixth, highlighting the competitions eveness. 

In Round 1, VPLM1 will witness a huge opening day on February 7 with a triple-header scheduled to start proceedings.

Brunswick City SC will host the first match of 2025 Eastern Lions at Dunstan Reserve at 7:30pm, Northcote City FC will host North Sunshine Eagles FC and John Cain Memorial Park and Bentleigh Greens SC will host Moreland City SC and Kingston Heath Soccer Complex both at. 8:30pm.

Meanwhile, VPLM2 will also begin on February 7 with a jam-packed quadruple-header. 

Box Hill United FC host Eltham Redbacks FC at Wembley park, Brunswick Juventus FC host Nunawading City FC at CB Smith Reserve, Whittlesea United SC make their VPL debut against Werribee City at Gilwell Park and Springvale take on Pascoe Vale at Serbian Sports Centre.

VPLW begins on Friday, March 14, with Keilor Park SC hosting Bundoora United and Ringwood City facing Bayside Argonauts FC rounding out opening night.
