Football Victoria (FV) has today been informed by Casey Comets Football Club that they have withdrawn their acceptance of promotion into the NPLW competition in 2025 and have not accepted their ongoing position in VPLW.
After working through the Order of Merit process, Brunswick Juventus FC were offered the opportunity to remain in the NPLW competition, which they accepted.
Brunswick Juventus FC finished the 2024 NPLW season in 11th place with three wins, four draws and 15 losses.
FV will now engage in the same Order of Merit process to fill the vacancy in VPLW for season 2025.
