The NPL Victoria continues this weekend with round 2 action kicking off on Friday night.
In a first for the sport in Victoria, the NPL broadcast will feature live crosses to a coach during the game, providing viewers with a unique insight into the tactics of the game.
Dandenong City Coach Sasa Ognenovski, whose team drew with rivals Dandenong Thunder in Round 1, will be crossed to live from the bench during the game, which will be broadcast live on NPL Victoria’s Facebook and Youtube platforms.
The broadcast will be hosted by Fox Sports Commentator Michael Zappone, alongside former Socceroo Gary Cole.
The game kicks off at 8:30pm this Friday night.
Football Victoria's General Manager of NPL, Ezel Hikmet, said it was important FV continued to innovate and provide fans of the game with a different perspective.
“We are thrilled that Sasa has agreed to bring viewers of the game into the inner sanctum. I’m sure it will make for fascinating viewing. He is a player who has represented his country with great distinction and is now proving himself as a coach in the NPL and we look forward to hearing his insights this Friday night.”
