Football Victoria's State Leagues and Regional Senior Competitions Award Winners Confirmed

Football Victoria (FV) is pleased to announce the Best and Fairest and Top Goal Scorer award winners across the Metropolitan, Geelong and Latrobe Valley for the 2024 season.

The Best and Fairest Award is voted on by the referees of every match and is the highest individual honour a player can receiver at the end of a season.  

With over 10,000 fixtures played by more than 700 teams in 2024, determining the Best and Fairest is an enormous undertaking that highlights the scale of the sport in Victoria.

With Victorian football administering the largest connected pyramid in Australian football, the State League and Regional Senior competitions are a pivotal component of the FV ecosystem.

The leagues we are announcing today are the Women’s State League, Men’s State League, Geelong Senior Men’s, Geelong Senior Women’s, Latrobe Valley Men’s Leagues and the Latrobe Valley Women’s Leagues.

FV Executive General Manager – Football Operations Dan Birrell took the opportunity to applaud the winners for the achievement.
