We're excited to announce that the Boys & Girls FC tournament is returning to Gippsland for its second year, following the fantastic success of 2023!
Football Victoria is teaming up with Latrobe City once more to host this top-tier event at Harold Preston Reserve.

- Dates: Saturday, October 19 & Sunday, October 20, 2024
- Location: Harold Preston Reserve, Davidson St, Traralgon VIC 3844
- Age Groups: Under 9 to Under 17 (Boys & Girls)
- Format: 7v7 & 9v9 – Enjoy fast-paced, dynamic matches
- Registration Fee: $30 per player if registered by September 2, 2024; $40 after
This year’s tournament is set to create an exciting festival-like atmosphere in Gippsland, complete with football action, entertainment, and family-friendly activities. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the end of the season and a fantastic destination for a post-season trip.
Our small-sided game formats (7v7 and 9v9) ensure that all players get plenty of touches on the ball, fostering engagement and skill development. Whether your team is looking to refine their skills, enjoy some competitive matches, or simply have fun, this event offers something for everyone.
Mayor of Latrobe City Council, Councillor Darren Howe, said the event will benefit the local community.
“We are so excited to again host this event in Latrobe City. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our community to get involved in a fun day of sport and family-friendly activities,” said the Mayor.
“Not only will the tournament bring economic benefits to the area, but it will also provide an important platform for players and referees and showcase one of our incredible outdoor facilities that can be used for sport and recreation all year round.”
