Futsal is fast paced, suited to social or competitive play and is available year-round. Better yet, it is one of the fastest growing sports in the country so there are plenty of opportunities for new referees to get involved.
Officiating Futsal starts with completing the Level 3 Futsal Referee Course. The course equips participants to referee at the community level in junior leagues and from there, the sky is the limit.
The journey to becoming a qualified Futsal referee begins with the following steps.
- Fill out the form via the 'Become a Futsal Referee' link below to create a GO1 account
- Complete the Laws of the Game
- Complete the Level 3 Futsal Referee Course
- Undertake the practical assessment: Referee a match alongside a qualified Futsal Referee Coach
