Altona Magic locks in senior coach for season 2024

Altona Magic has secured the services of Goran Lozanovski as their senior men's coach for season 2024. 

The Magic finished sixth on the NPLM ladder in 2022 with striker Jonas Markovski claiming the Golden Boot. 

In a post on the club's Facebook page, Lozanovski said he was "excited and proud" to be back at the Magic.

"It is great to be back at my home club, and it felt exciting to be walking back through the front gate," he said.

"I have some unfinished business at Magic and I have already hit the ground running in preparation for 2024."

Lozanovski has a long history in the game, playing at the highest level in Australian Football and representing Australia at U20, U23, and senior level as a Socceroo. 

He has coached through all levels of Victorian Football, including overseeing Altona Magic’s promotion back to NPL1.

Altona Magic had previously announced Scott Miller as their new senior head coach, however due to rapidly changing personal circumstances, the club turned to Lozanovski, who was has already been at the helm at the Magic from 2018-20.
