2023 FV Media Accreditation Now Open | Applications Close January 2, 2023

Applications for Football Victoria (FV) Media Accreditation for the 2023 season are now open. 

If granted accreditation, the pass will allow the bearer access to:

  • Matches played in the 2023 National Premier League Men’s and the National Premier League Women’s of Victoria (NPLM, NPLM2, NPLM3 and NPLW).
  • Matches played in the 2023 Victorian Premier League Women’s (VPLW and VPLW Reserves).
  • Relevant cup competitions associated with NPLM, NPLM2, NPLM3, NPLW or VPLW leagues, namely Victorian Qualifying Rounds of Australia Cup, Dockerty Cup and Nike F.C. Cup in 2023.
  • FV State League Men’s and Women’s 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 matches during the 2023 season, including finals.
  • All FV Futsal competitions.

However, it does not grant access to:

  • National Premier Leagues Finals matches staged outside Victoria.
  • Australia Cup fixtures from the national Round of 32 onwards.
  • Any A-League Men, A-League Women, or A-League Youth fixtures.
  • Any international matches.

2023 Media Accreditation Terms & Conditions

ACCREDITATION TYPES

1. Media

For individuals associated with publications (digital or print), radio, or other media platforms which provide football coverage throughout Victoria. These passes will provide successful applicants with venue access and where applicable, press boxes and interview areas. Access to the pitch or change rooms is NOT permitted for media unless an exemption is provided by Football Victoria. During your application, you will be asked to submit examples of your work. 

2. Club Media Employee or Club Media Volunteer

FV recognises the critical importance of club-made media, be it videography, photography or social media. Club media employees and volunteers must submit a letter of endorsement from their club with their application - see the application form for further details. The Club Media Employee or Volunteer pass grants access for matches in which the Club name printed on the front of the pass is playing

3. Photographer/Videographer (including official live streaming partners)

Freelance or FV commissioned photographers/videographers, including those associated with official FV live streaming partners will be granted venue access and access to the area between the assigned perimeter fence and touch/goal line. For further information, please refer to the Media Terms of Accreditation. Successful applicants will receive a pass labelled 'Content'.

4. FV Commentators

Commentators will receive access to the venue and where applicable, press boxes and interview areas. Commentators are permitted to enter Club rooms to only to gain official team sheets from the referees, or seek clarity on player numbers, names or other key information from Club officials which is associated with their role. Successful applicants will receive a pass labelled 'Content'.

5. Data or livescore service

For approved data or livescore services. Successful applicants will be granted venue access.

KEY INFORMATION

Applications close at 11:59PM Monday, January 2, 2023.

Please note the deadline has been set to allow pass production and delivery prior to the opening round of NPL Victoria Competition.

Applications submitted after the January 2, 2023 deadline will be considered, however there may be delays with delivery of successful passes. 

Please remember that applying for accreditation does not guarantee a pass.

2023 Media Accreditation Application Form

Successful applicants will be notified by email in January and a pass will be sent by post to the address provided in the application form.
