Become a Futsal Referee in Victoria

Football Victoria (FV) is responsible for referees across all Futsal competitions and events that are held under the jurisdiction of Football Victoria.

Futsal is a sport played all year round and referees continue their development under Football Victoria while supplementing their income by officiating at local FV affiliated competitions on most nights throughout the year as well as FV's own events and tournaments which are held annually.

Level 3 Futsal Referee Course - July 2021

The Level 3 Futsal Referee Course (to be delivered virtually), will be hosted by FIFA/AFC Futsal Referees Instructor Adrian Tamplin. This course certifies anyone aged 13 or older to referee Football Victoria sanctioned Futsal matches. 

Part 1: Virtual - Tuesday 20th July 2021, 7pm - 10pm
Part 2: Virtual - Tuesday 3rd August 2021, 7pm - 10pm
Part 3: Exam & Practical Session - Date TBA

Cost: $150

Eligibility: For Futsal Referees who have completed the Football Australia Level 3 Futsal Referee Course.

The 2021/22 FIFA Futsal Laws of the Game have been updated and approved by the FIFA Council, incorporating certain futsal-specific changes while also bringing the Laws into line with a number of modifications recently made in football and beach soccer.
