The Football Victoria Country Championships is an annual tournament held over the King’s Birthday weekend designed to celebrate regional football talent across Victoria.
The FV Country Championships is the home to 100 teams and 1,500+ players competing in over 200 matches in this 3 day tournament across both male and female age groups. With over 40 years of history, each year the FV Country Championships travels to a different host region across Victoria, attracting regional footballers and their families, while generating significant tourism and economic activity. The 2025 edition of the Country Championships will be held in the border community of Albury/Wodonga, with 2026 and 2027 scheduled for Bendigo and the Latrobe Valley.
