The All Abilities League is designed for players with a disability, enabling them to play football in a safe and inclusive environment.
How we have adapted the Football Victoria All Abilities League:
All divisions
- Smaller playing fields
- Smaller teams, more touches on the ball
- Shorter game times
- Different rules for different divisions
Social and Junior divisions
- Throw in, roll in or kick in of the ball which support various physical disabilities (In traditional football, only throw-ins are allowed)
- On-field support allowed (support person guiding player, equipment support i.e. pushing a wheelchair)
- No slide tackles
Semi-competitive and Competitive Divisions
- Throw in, or roll in of the ball which support various physical disabilities (In traditional football, only throw-ins are allowed)
