The All Abilities League is designed for players with a disability, enabling them to play football in a safe and inclusive environment.

How we have adapted the Football Victoria All Abilities League:

All divisions

  • Smaller playing fields
  • Smaller teams, more touches on the ball
  • Shorter game times
  • Different rules for different divisions

Social and Junior divisions

  • Throw in, roll in or kick in of the ball which support various physical disabilities (In traditional football, only throw-ins are allowed)
  • On-field support allowed (support person guiding player, equipment support i.e. pushing a wheelchair)
  • No slide tackles

Semi-competitive and Competitive Divisions

  • Throw in, or roll in of the ball which support various physical disabilities (In traditional football, only throw-ins are allowed)
