SAP Centre

SAP Centres (Football Victoria based)

In 2020, Football Victoria is excited to announce the launch of Football Victoria SAP Centres for identified U9-12 Victorian boys and girls. The Centres will be operating out of  Darebin International Sports Centre (DISC) and Knox Regional Football Centre.

SAP Centres are part time programs, working in conjunction with clubs to identify and develop potentially talented Victorian players. Players train one night a week with their allocated squad in their area, with all players required to train and play matches with their current club.

Pending further changes to government restrictions regarding community sport, FV will look to begin trials in the July school holidays. The first training block is due to commence in mid July 2020.

Initial trial invitations will be based on club nominations.

Clubs can nominate a maximum of the following:

Up to 2 players + 1 goalkeeper per age group for boys 2011 born to 2008 born.

Up to 2 players + 1 goalkeeper per age group for girls 2011 born to 2009 born.

Please note that nominations for Under 12 girls (2008 born) will form part of the TIDC girls program, which will be communicated later in the year.
