It's a great opportunity for women within the Victorian football community to come together, with entertainment and a very special guest speaker, Ann Odong.
Ann Odong has been involved in the coverage and promotion of women’s football in Australia and internationally for almost 15 years. Ann’s passion for the world game began with grassroots women’s football in Western Australia. After noticing the underreporting of women’s football in mainstream media, she launched The Women’s Game – Australia’s premier destination for women’s football for over a decade.
Her involvement in the game has included the coverage of Australia’s historic 2010 AFC Women’s Asian Cup victory, FIFA Women’s World Cup (2007, 2011 & 2015), the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, all eleven seasons of the Westfield W-League and several youth international and NPL tournaments.
