Victorian football clubs awarded VicHealth Active Club Grants

As Victorian clubs continue to navigate the ongoing challenges of COVID-19, we welcome news from VicHealth of the recipients of the latest round of Active Club Grant funding.

VicHealth’s Active Club Grants make a significant contribution to the Victorian community by improving the health of less active Victorians. The grants aim to provide more opportunities to safely participate in sport, with a particular focus on people who otherwise would not get these opportunities.

In this round of funding, we are very pleased to see that 16 Victorian football clubs and three Associations have been awarded a total of over $65,000 of funding.

These grants will help support grassroots clubs create new opportunities for our community to get active, encouraging more Victorians to #LiveLoveFootball.

Football Victoria thanks VicHealth for their ongoing commitment to grassroots football and congratulates all the recipients of VicHealth Active Club Grants in 2020.
