Football Victoria (FV) extends sincere and deep condolences to the Buhagiar family and the Latrobe Valley football community on the sudden passing of Michael Buhagiar on 10 July 2019.
As President of both the Latrobe Valley Soccer League (LVSL) and Newborough Yallourn United Soccer Club, Michael was a passionate and proud leader, and a great servant to the football community.
Football Victoria will continue to support the LVSL and its clubs during this difficult time.
The funeral service for Michael Buhagiar will take place on Friday 19th July 2019 at 11am at St Keiren’s Catholic Church Moe. Followed by internment at Trafalgar Cemetery. Post the services there will be a celebration of Michaels life at the NYUSC clubrooms.
