Football Federation Victoria (FFV) is saddened to hear of the passing of long-time Victorian referee and Life Member Colin Tuffield.
Tuffield, 86, passed away recently after a short battle with illness.
Tuffield was a referee and then later a referee inspector for more than three decades. He was acknowledged as a Life Member of FFV in 2009.
A referee at all levels after migrating from the United Kingdom in 1964, Tuffield's contribution to Victorian football stretched from officiating junior competitions to international matches.
Colin is survived by his wife Doreen, sons Neil and Ian, daughter Danielle and several grandchildren.
The FFV Board of Directors, Executive and staff send their sincere condolences to the Tuffield family.
