Tune in Sunday 24 April | Powerchair Football Championships to be live streamed

The Victorian Powerchair League Football Championships are set to be live streamed this Sunday, April 24 on Football Victoria's Facebook and Youtube channels.

Kicking off at 12:15pm, the Division 1 Championship match will take place between Melbourne City and South Melbourne FC.  All  juniors and new players are encouraged to come to watch, with opportunities for newcomers to even participate off the bench for either team.

Following this, the Division 2 decider will kick off at 1:30pm. The game will consist of all Division 2  players evenly split across two teams. Teams will be mixed as needed to ensure everyone gets an opportunity on the court and that matchups are consistent and fair. This means some Division 1 players will fill in and help coach and facilitate the match with junior players where necessary. Spare chairs will remain available for players without one.

Concluding the day, from 3PM to 5PM is a Come and Try Period. To anyone who has thought about trying Powerchair football before, this is a great opportunity to and there will be various spare chairs available for those looking to give it a go!
