Return To Play Conditions v6.1 released

We’re back! Following the relaxation of community sport restrictions overnight, Football Victoria (FV) has released updated Return To Play Conditions (RTP) for our football community.

The key points to note include:

  • Outdoor football matches can return for players of all ages across Victoria, subject to facility limits for outdoor venues.

  • Futsal/indoor football can return, subject to facility limits for indoor venues.

  • Changerooms can open, subject to density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm.

  • Canteens can open, subject to restrictions within the RTP conditions.

  • No spectators permitted - numbers strictly limited to the minimum number required to facilitate the activity, including coaches, required support staff and one parent/guardian per junior participant. Overall facility limit of 300 people per discrete outdoor space and 100 per indoor space.

  • Accredited media are permitted to attend matches, but must seek approval from the Club prior to attending and comply with any additional COVIDSafe requirements the Club may have.

  • A COVID Check-in Marshal must be present at all entrances to the facility whenever operational to ensure all attendees check in via QR code

Clubs are requested to review the changes in the RTP in detail and to continue to liaise with their Council (or other land owner) in relation to venue and facility access. Those Clubs who have teams participating in competitions administered by a Regional Association, should liaise directly with their member Association.

Clubs are reminded that compliance with FV’s Return to Play Conditions is mandatory.
