Online training guidelines

Football Victoria (FV) aims to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants in football. Everyone involved in our sport, and particularly children, should be treated with respect and dignity and be free to participate without being discriminated against, harassed, bullied or abused.

As our community transitions to using digital platforms to connect in new ways, we have put together a 'DOs and DON'Ts' document to provide guidance when delivering online programs for children.

FV expects all clubs and their personnel to take safeguarding seriously and each is reminded that training online is subject to the law, as well as FFA and FV laws, rules and policies, particularly the Member Protection Policy and the Grievance, Disciplinary and Tribunal By-Law.

We encourage you to download the document and share it within your club with anyone who provides training for your participants.
