Are you ready to make a difference to football in Victoria? Would you enjoy shaping how football is played? Are you passionate about solving the issues affecting football?
If this sounds like you, then you may be who we’re looking for to join Football Victoria as a Zone Representative or to be part of the next group of delegates on our high performing Standing Committees.
We have developed a Strategic Plan that maps out the direction of football in Victoria to 2022, and are seeking highly capable and motivated people who are aligned to our values of respect, integrity, unity, inclusive and leadership to help manage how football is administered in Victoria and to assist us with our key strategic priorities.
We are seeking a diverse group to represent community views, such as players, coaches, parents, administrators and supporters from all walks of life.
In total, we require the following positions to be filled:
- 12 x Zone Representative positions (2 representatives per zone)
- 12 x positions each for Men's, Women's and Juniors' Standing Committees
- 9 x positions each for the Coaches' and Referees' Standing Committees
Our current Zone Representatives and Standing Committee delegates will finish their terms shortly. Football Victoria is now calling for nominations for the positions of Zone Representatives and Standing Committee members for the next 2 years.
If you are interested in joining the Coaches or Referees Standing Committees, please talk to your colleagues and perhaps also persuade a few of them to nominate.
Similarly, if you are interested in joining the Men's, Women's or Junior Standing Committees or if you wish to nominate as a Zone Representative, please raise this with your club or clubs within your zone.
Clubs and Associations are also encouraged to discuss the potential nomination of Zone Representatives and Standing Committee Delegates among their members.
