Dear clubs and the extended football family,
With this afternoon’s State Government announcement that Victoria will move to stage four Covid-19 restrictions, Football Victoria (FV) confirms that all football activities in the State are postponed from 11.59 Friday 12 February until 11.59pm Wednesday 17 February.
This includes all organised competitions (Junior Boys NPL), all practice matches, club and/or player training sessions, refereeing training sessions, coaching courses, Futsal competitions and training, Talent ID camps and FV elite development programs.
For Junior Boys NPL fixtures postponed this weekend, these games will be rescheduled to ensure the integrity of the qualification phase of this competition.
Football Victoria will continue to liaise with the Department of Sport and Recreation and will provide updates as they are available.
We look forward to football resuming on the completion of these 5 days of stage 4 restrictions.
