2022 State Referees Conference to be held online

Football Victoria’s (FV) 2022 State Referees Conference will now be held online. Scheduled for Saturday, February 5 the conference was initially set to take place at Monash University.

Despite the change in format, the highly successful 2021 iteration was also held virtually and received an overwhelmingly positive reception from the refereeing community.

This year’s conference will feature various presentations, guest speakers, Q & A sessions and the opportunity for referees to grow their knowledge in an entertaining and engaging environment.

FV Head of Referees, Tony Peart stated that despite not being able to gather in person, the event will build upon the strong foundations set in 2021.

“Building on the success of last season, we are looking to start the year strong and this provides a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and mix with referees from across Victoria officiating at all levels,” he said.

‘’This will be a good opportunity for us to take stock and make sure we are all on the same page ahead of the new season.”

Leading into the 2022 State Referees Conference, FV will circulate pre-event activities in order to condense conference and ensure the day’s agenda remains streamlined, fast-paced and informative for attendees.

Further information on the conference guest speakers and agenda, registrations and access to the online event will be confirmed shortly.
