Football Victoria (FV) has released the draft league structures for the Women’s State League Competitions in 2020.
The structures were formed considering the Rules of Competition and comprehended each team's standings at the conclusion of the 2019 season.
FV is thrilled to see the continued growth within the Women’s State League structure which saw an additional division (WSL 5) added at the commencement of the 2019 season due to demand.
FV has a strong desire to further grow the women's game across the state. For clubs that have a number of senior women’s participants and wish to begin a new Women’s State League team, there is still an opportunity to do so.
The FV Competitions team will be commencing the Sports TG Online Team Entry Period on Wednesday 19th February until Thursday 5th March 2020. Clubs looking for assistance with this are invited to contact the FV Competitions Team on (03) 9474 1800.
