2021 Constitutional Reform Program

Football Victoria's Constitutional Reform Program

Football Victoria (FV) has announced the commencement of the 2021 Constitutional Reform Program.

This is a major project that is intended to review the FV Constitution through a detailed consultation process, then implement changes that will ultimately reshape Football Victoria's governance structure going forward.

The process is expected to run throughout 2021.

The Constitution Review Group (CRG) has now been finalised, and will comprise the following members:

Independent Chair

  • Patrick Moriarty

FV Board Representatives

  • Azmeena Hussain;
  • Harry Zaitman.

CRG Stakeholder Representatives

  • Katherine Stamatopoulos;
  • Bob Stensholt;
  • Angela Williams;
  • Arthur Kiousis;
  • Margaret Giudice; and
  • Mark Powell.

Please note, the first meeting of the CRG will be held in mid-June 2021.  Following that, a discussion paper will be prepared and distributed to all football stakeholders for comment by early-July.  All comments and feedback regarding the Constitution Review should be in writing and emailed to constitutional.review@footballvictoria.com.au.

The current timeline for the project can be outlined below. Please note that this is currently a draft and subject to change. If any amendments are made, FV will issue the relevant communications.
