Futsal: 5-A-Side Indoor Football (Soccer)
Football Victoria, in conjunction with School Sport Victoria, welcome Expressions of Interest from SSV Primary and Secondary Schools who wish to participate in Futsal 5-A-Side Indoor Football competitions in 2022.
Key features of Futsal include:
- Played on an indoor court, smaller than a football pitch, with a smaller ball
- Have fun and tests your skills
- With no offside rule, players can get more touches on the ball and score more goals than traditional outdoor football
- Unlimited substitutions are available during the match
- Improves players decision making skills
- Gain more confidence on the ball and increase decision making
FV is seeking expressions of interest for schools wishing to participate in Futsal schools programs in 2022.

When can my school take part?

| Date? | Thursday 3 November, 2022 |
| Time? | 9am - 3pm |
| Location? | Knox Regional Football Centre |
| How many players per team? | 5 players on court at a time (max of 10 players per team) |
| Is there a cost to participate? | There is a $50 fee per team to participate |
| Can schools enter multiple teams? | Schools are able to enter multiple teams, 2 teams maximum per competition. |
| Is there a cap on the number of teams at the event? | Max 36 teams across the competitions (ideally 8 teams per competition) |
| Number of competitions on the day | 4 competitions for team entry |
