More and more Victorian clubs are running programs for players with disabilities, and now is the time to get involved! Fill out the Jotform below and we will get in contact with you.

Barnstoneworth United Junior Football Club



The ‘Football for Fun’ program at Barnstoneworth United Junior football Club in Williamstown is free and open to boys and girls from 6 to 15 years of age. No soccer experience is necessary to join in the fun, with the program focused on teaching balance, coordination and ball skills through a variety of games. Suitable for families, the program is flexible and there's no need to sign up for the season. Simply come along to a session and give football a go.

Berwick City Soccer Club


The Berwick City Soccer Club caters for boys and girls with a Disability, aged between 5 and 16 years. The club is proud of its community environment, and sessions will focus on creating a fun experience for all players, team work activities and building their football skills. Children of all abilities are welcome.

The club is passionate about Paralympic football, and in the future will be focused on creating a specific program for 7-a-side Football, which is for men and women with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injuries or stroke-related impairments. This will be the third program of its kind in Melbourne.

Collingwood Junior Eagles Special Needs Soccer Program


The Collingwood Junior Eagles program caters for children aged 8-18 with a physical and/or intellectual disability, autism and down syndrome. Junior Eagles players learn to play soccer in a safe, friendly and relaxed environment where the focus is on fun, skill development and participation.

When: Saturdays 9:30-11:00am from April 16th to August 6th
No sessions during Term 2 Holidays, ANZAC Holiday Weekend (23rd April) or Queen’s Birthday Weekend (11th June).

Where: Collingwood City FC, Bastow Oval, Kevin Bartlett Sporting and Recreation Complex, Richmond.

Cost: $100 for 12 week season – includes FFV registration, uniform, coaching, team trophy and photo.

Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club – Onemda Clinics


Doncaster Rovers have partnered with Bendigo Banks’ Community Enterprise Foundation to provide soccer clinics for participants from Onemda, an organisation for adults with a disability. The Clinics are run by Linda and Richard from Doncaster Rovers Soccer Club and anyone wanting to volunteer please do contact Linda. Basic skills, drills followed by a friendly match occur every week throughout the year during the school terms.

When: Wednesdays from 10:30am-11:30am, commencing in February

Doveton Special Soccer School Incorporated


Program: Doveton Special Soccer School is a great club for children and adults with disabilities, filled with enthusiastic volunteers who will assist you to be the best soccer player that you can be.

When: Sessions run from 10am-12pm on Saturdays starting February 13th 2016. Winter training runs from 1-3pm June to September.

Geelong Access All Abilities Futsal


Program: Access All Abilities (AAA) Futsal is a fun, safe, easy and inclusive program for boys and girls with Disability, aged 12 years and above. We are extremely fortunate to have a wonderful volunteer coach, Paul Schoe (Lara Soccer Club) who takes the weekly sessions. Each session includes warm up drills, skills, coaching and a game and it’s a great way to get active, meet new people and most importantly have some fun!

When: Saturdays, 10am-11am

  • Term 1 – 4 sessions (24th Feb – 24th Mar)
  • Term 2 – 9 sessions (21st Apr – 23rd June)
  • Term 3 – 9 sessions (21st July – 15th Sept)
  • Term 4 – 9 sessions (13th Oct – 8th Dec)

Glen Eira All Abilities Football Program


The Glen Eira All Abilities Football Program is a great way to enjoy the game, meet new people, get fit and have fun. Open to all abilities (physical and/or intellectual disabilities), all ages and all genders, this program includes training sessions and friendly matches. Come along for a free try-out session.

This program is endorsed and supported by the Glen Eira Junior Soccer Club, North Caulfield Maccabi JFC, The Reagan Milstein Foundation, Doveton Special Soccer School, Special Olympics Victoria, Disability Sport and Recreation and Football Federation Victoria.

When: Sessions run fortnightly on Sundays (from February – November), from 10-11am . See website for dates.

Cost: First session free. Joining Fee is $30 per year. Participation Fee is $10 per session, paid by cash on the day.

Hampton Dolphins Football Club


Hampton Dolphins is a parent run soccer training club for children, teens and young adults with special needs. The Dolphins cater mainly for people with intellectual disabilities, as well as individuals with limited mobility. Unfortunately the venue is not wheelchair accessible.

When: Saturdays from 1:15pm, commencing in April

Hoppers Crossing SC

Soccer for Therapy: SNAPP is a Not for Profit Organisation dedicated to supporting children and families on the Autism Spectrum.  We create our programs specifically to the needs of our kids, giving them the opportunity to create and grow in a team environment.

Mitchell Rangers Soccer Club


Mitchell Rangers Soccer Club in Broadford is creating a new All Abilities Soccer Program in 2017, which will specifically welcome children and teenagers of all abilities to play and develop their soccer skills in a supporting, welcoming and inclusive environment. The program is the first known All Abilities program in the region, and they are seeking expressions of interest from the local community to come and join the fun!

Northcote City Football Club


Northcote City Football Club offer a 7-a-side football development program that caters for people aged 10 years or older who have cerebral palsy, or have been affected by an acquired brain injury or stroke. Catering for beginners as well as seasoned football players, this program is currently the only certified 7-a-side football program in Victoria, with pathways to Paralympic competition.

When: Saturdays on a fortnightly basis from 10:00am – 11:30am, commencing 5th March 2016.

Northern Falcons Football Club

Ringwood City Soccer Club All Abilities Team


Ringwood City Soccer Club and Special Olympics Australia offer weekly training for individuals with disabilities of all ages, genders and skill levels. The sessions focus on having fun on the soccer pitch and offer a supportive environment for those trying the sport for the first time.

When: Saturdays from 1-2pm, Terms 2 and 3.

Cost: First session free, ongoing membership $20/$30 (Junior/Senior) per year.

Williamstown Soccer Club


Williamstown SC and SNAPP Autism Group deliver an ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off Program specifically for kids on the autism spectrum.

Last year the program was delivered for the first time, having 30 registrations of kids ages 3-11.

This year there are 17 registrations so far with another program commencing in July.
